I was born in Las Vegas and lived in Tonopah till I was seven, then my family moved to Alamo. I grew up playing sports and was outdoors when I wasn’t playing sports! I played college basketball for a year before falling into surveying. I joined YSN because I recognized the opportunity to grow within the profession and be a part of the land surveying community!

My name is Jasen Solt. I am 36 years old, married, have three boys and three dogs. I began my family in Reno and shortly thereafter my surveying career as a drafter in the Bay Area of California. The frequent 5 hours of commuting took its toll rather quickly and I found myself relocating my family back to Nevada in just over a year.
