Hi, my name is Brett Clarke. I am currently a student at GBC and planning on graduating this year. I got into surveying by taking surveying classes at Santa Rosa Junior College right after high school. I had an internship my second semester there and have been at it ever since. I got into YSN through being a student member of NALS. I have met a group of fellow students through YSN that has really put me on the fast track to success and led to many friendships. They have helped me with hard classes and pass my Fundamentals of Surveying test. I can’t encourage being a member of YSN enough to people who are trying to get through an online-based surveying program like the one at Great Basin College. It would be incredibly hard without them!
